The Equality Department of Durango Town Hall organises workshops and training activities aimed at women in order to develop their capacity to improve their living conditions, to take a more active part in society and in politics and to have a greater awareness of the inequality that exits between the sexes.

The different workshops and activities organised aim to encourage the individual and the group to reflect on feminist issues related to feminist psychology and to contribute with personal experience. They look at the sexist use of language and how women can develop the necessary social skills to cope in the public sphere.
